Having a healthy body should be a main goal for anybody. You could be healthier just by doing simple things every day. Here are ten simple things that you could do to make yourself more healthy than yesterday.
Wake up early, no matter how late you went to bed last night. Early in the morning is the changing pace in plant's metabolism. It means that plant produce more oxygen in the morning. Fresh air could reduce stress and fix your mood. Not only that, liver, heart, stomach, and colon work better in the morning. If you still want to sleep, do it after 9:00 am.
Protein for your breakfast. Eggs are recommended for breakfast. Protein need more time to be digested than carbohydrates and they help in burning fat in your body, giving you extra energy for the rest of the day.
Tea in the Morning. Tea contains caffeine and not as harmful as coffee. Although excessive caffeine could be dangerous, one cup of tea in the morning is good to boost our day because they have a good amount of antioxidants.
Do not ever take a bath after a meal. Bathing disrupt the temperature of our body and as a standard mechanism, blood will be spread to all parts of our body (the reason we feel freshened after a bath). Although this is usually good, we need the blood circulation concentrated in digesting system after a meal. That is why bathing after a meal will disrupt our food digestion.
Run or walk at least ten minutes per day. Feet workouts improve our blood circulation. Actually any sports will do, but walking and running is the simplest form of workouts and you could do that any time without much hassle.
Drink water at least 3.5 liters per day. We need water, excessive works or city climate makes us sweating a lot and we will need more water to replace it
Check your water needs by checking your urine. Healthy urine has no color and almost without foam. Foam in your urine shows its acidity. Yellow urine also shows that there is more bilirubin than water. Drink more water to neutralize acidity rate and improve your metabolism.
Hot plain tea, cure for nausea. Eating spicy foods and fatty foods sometime give an unpleasant sensation. Drink hot plain tea because tea contains tannin which could neutralize fat and cholesterol inside our body. Do not bother adding sugar into your tea because sugar will make you feel more uncomfortable.
Fix your mood and stress level with whole grain or spinach. Iron in spinach and whole grain bread will increase our blood quality. More hemoglobin means more oxygen. Oxygen will help our brain reach its full potential, reducing stress and bad mood.
Brush your teeth at night. Brushing your teeth just before going to bed is good for dental hygiene. Also, from certain research shows that toothpaste reduces appetite because its aroma pushes the urges to eat. Great tips for those with strict diet plan.
